SENIOR DRIVER ASSESSMENT - 1 HOUR

Making decisions about an aging loved one's ability to drive safely can be difficult. Aiken Driving School (ADS) is here to help families make informed decisions through our Senior Driver Assessment Program.

Our assessment is designed for senior drivers who may be experiencing age-related physical limitations, cognitive changes, or other challenges that could affect their ability to drive safely.

THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• One (1) Hour Behind-the-Wheel Driving Assessment

• Evaluation of driving skills, awareness, judgment, and vehicle control

• Assessment of the driver's ability to navigate common traffic situations safely

• Written Driving Assessment Report with observations and recommendations

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• This assessment is intended to help seniors and their families better understand the driver's current driving abilities.

• The assessment is conducted by an ADS driving instructor.

• A written report will be provided following the assessment.

• A class date must be selected during registration. The assessment cannot proceed without a scheduled date.

PLEASE NOTE: This assessment is an evaluation of driving performance and does not constitute a medical diagnosis or an official determination of driving eligibility by the SCDMV.
